Use athletes foot medicine on it. It is a fungus and so is athletes foot so the same type of ointment works for both conditions.

Iodine is the only cure for ringworms if you don't have anything
else. It takes about two weeks, put it on and around outside of
the area infected, at least two to four times a day. But your best bet is go to a doctor or vet if its an animal.

Ringworm isn't a worm.
It's a fungus.

The prescription medicine used to treat it is the same medicine as you buy over the counter for athlete's foot.
