I think it would be great. I love nature. I'm tired of the states where I've been.

Yes. Move to Bozeman where there's nobody else for miles around. Nobody will bother you there. It's just a little town with a gas station and two bars. Plenty of solitude in Bozeman. Or, you might try Billings. Two gas stations and one bar. Butte has just one of each and a church like Little House on the Prairie. Nice and quaint.

Nobody can bother you unless you let them. You allow yourself to be bothered by others. Reading your question, I envision a scene out of the Twilight Zone, where the whole town is reaching out to touchy-feelly the girl and she's freaked out of her mind...

If there was a place without people yet inhabitable, I'd already be there :P Seriously, it depends on what you are running from, you can never escape your problems, you have to face them. And at some point you need to tell people where to go if they try running over you. If in an urban locale, drive a beat up old pickup and put a NRA bumpersticker on it, and hang a cross from your rear view mirror, that takes care of 95% of the nutjobs. Without a gunrack in the cab window they'll just assume you're packing heat. Now if you move to a rural area, you have to drive a Volvo, or white four wheel drive, with the rainbow decal in the back window, and 95% of people will leave you alone there. You know what they say about Montana: "At least our cows are sane." The other thing they say is "You can't eat the scenery". Good luck whatever you choose.

I don't think you should move just because other people bother you all of the time. I know the sound of another person's voice can be totally painful, but that should not be the only reason for your decision. You should just do something or make some psychotic comment that will make them leave you alone.

As someone who used to live in the mountains of New Mexico and is easily annoyed and drained by people, I think Montana would be paradise. Alaska sounds tempting, too.
