I really like this guy who I have class with. We're really good friends. It's very obvious that I like him, I mean when I'm not around him I want to be and I think about him a lot. When I'm around him, I break out into a rash (actually that's normal for me if I'm nervous or embarassed) But I'm afraid of putting myself out there and asking him (considering that I'm really shy and he's actually like me as well: shy). At times, I think he likes me back--but then i just don't know. I mean he has my phone number but he's never called, he knows and remembers where I work--but does not visit. I have this really big fear of rejection so I choose not to ask him, but I've liked him for almost 3 months now. And I'm needing advice on what I should do. I don't think he knows that I like him, but its obvious to my friends. I don't want to mess our friendship up, but then I keep wondering about the what if? So someone please give me some advice.....Thanks!

I know how you feel! It's even harder when the guy is shy too. You need to start talking to him again. Just casual conversation. Ask if he'd ever want to get together to study. Say you need help. If he's your friend, talk to him as a friend so you won't feel so nervous. Do you have his number? Try and get it. You may have to make the first move if he hasn't budged yet. If you really want to, tell a friend of his about your crush so his friend can say something to him. Do what you can. Guys can be very oblivious so if everyone knows except him, that's usually how it goes. You need to make your voice heard even if you can't do it yourself. I understand that you don't want to be asking yourself "what if" either.

Just be sweet and always smile. This will make you come off friendly and approachable so it's less intimidating for him. Good luck! I hope I helped because this situation can be tough. Just take it day by day.

Well, I would ask one of my friends who is friends with him to put in a good word, LOL, and then just come right out and say it before you lose your chance with him.
