Should I be worried about a dangerous alergy? She was very sick with the second bite and she swelled very seriously. I plan to call and vet and get the exact benedryl dose for her as she is very small, 3lbs.
I have been warned that each reaction will be increasingly worse.

Call the VET ASAP

This is an emergency. I'm not kidding.

When your pet has an allergic reaction that causes the face to swell, redness, maybe even hives and welts, you need to rush your dog to the vet immediately. Phone them to tell them you are on your way and your dog is having an allergic reaction.
If you do not do this your dog may die. It is a life and death situation.
The next time it happens, follow that guideline. Things can go downhill very fast.
On your way to the vet you should keep your dog cool, with the car a/c or cold packs.
Once there your vet will administer medications and keep your dog for awhile until the danger has passed.

Please, I have a dog with the same thing and I almost lost him. The vet, er is the only way to go.

What are you waiting for? If it was my dog I would be driving all night or all day to get to the vet asap and I have done this as I live on an island. If you can't get to the vet at least phone a vet clinic and tell them it is extremely urgent you get professional advice. Good luck with your little bundle of joy :)

Take her to your vet asap, tell her exactly what happened, and be sure you have some medication on hand at all times.

It certainly is possible that each reaction will be increasingly worse, so you need to be prepared.

Good luck!

she probably has an allergy to ants and yes each time it will get worse. I know in fla in the summertime it is an on going battle with the fleas, the ants and the mosquitoes , I will be so glad to move out of fla when i get the chance too tired of all the things that are flying ,crawling and slithering. good luck to you.

I am not sure. I suggest that you take your chihuahua to the doctor. The doc. will know what to do.

Don't "plan to call your vet" - do it!
