I just moved to the Bronx, and I was curious whether or not there was a website that gave the times and sides of the street when the street cleaning occurs? I know there are signs on the streets but it would be nice to know ahead of time where I can and cannot park and if I need to wake up at 8 to move my car.

The signs are really the only times that Sanitation cleans the streets. They don't clean it any other. Actually if you go to the nyc.gov website, they do have a parking schedule for alternate-side suspensions, that way on certain legal and religious holidays you can leave your car parked and you won't get ticketed.

Call the Department of Transporation and ask if there is a website. This site tells you when alternate side of the street parking is suspended and what the general rules are.

Just learn the cleaning patterns. It shouldn't be hard.
