Check your caption settings - one of them puts a big black box on the screen that blocks out most of the picture.

I say a combination of 4 of these suggestions check your capiton settings then if that is not it then hit then call the company you bought your tv from and if that goes nowhere why not call ghost busters and tell them we said hi.Or you could bush the button on either the far right or the far left of your TV labeled "power" that also might fix it.

Call the company because if it has a warranty than they would have to exchange the defective item!
