It didn't affect "Israel" at all. It affected Palestine and the rest of the Arab world when the Brits and USA stole our land from us and gave it the Zionists.

Nice people deborah w, will never feel sorry for the Israeli crimes aginst the native Palestinian people. For the last 56 years the Palestinian Refugees are living in a United Nation Refugee Camps waiting for UN to implement the UN Security Council resolutions. For the last 56 years Israel conducts collective punishment and state terror against the Palestinian Refugees.

It continues to affect Israel in that it is still going on and unsettled. As long as it is unsettled, it is an existential treat to Israel and they have to keep their army mobilized to prevent attacks.

The Middle East will never be peaceful without ending the Israeli occupation. This is the conclusion of the UN, EU, Backer-Hamilton report, and President Carter new book.No one could NOT change his mind unless he has no mind. Occupying other people by force is losing policy in the past and now and has no future.

it affects the Israelies lives every day, they know its not their land and they wont live there forever, they know that the palestinians "Muslims and Christiants" have a strong faith in God and in their right to get their stolen land back from those animals.
they live in fear every day because they are afraid from their enemy faith, courage, and insistence to fight for their last breath to get their land back, from the economical view i believe that their economic is going down with every stupid act their government does, the people suffer the loss and their boss gains profits from his own people loss, how silly they are!!!!!!!!!

The Arab/Israel conflict has, and continues to effect Israel negatively.
Imagine if YOUR next door neighbour hated you simply because you lived there. Even though you rightfully live in your house, they still continue to hate you and publicly state it. Imagine they formed a political party against YOU, and the sole aim of that party was to drive you and your family into the sea!
This is what Israel faces.
They are under constant threat of terrorism - suicide bombers/rocket attacks and other forms of terror against its people that they have HAD to introduce compulsary military service for all its youth.
They cannot 'relax' and have had to spend millions on security to protect itself from people who want to kill them, just because they are there.
Israel was victorious in the 6day war;

but has been pressured to return the land that it won ever since.
It is a country continually under threat.
But the truth is, God has blessed Israel and the Jews are Gods blessed people. They will never be defeated.
Shalom.

It's important to remember that Arab aggression started BEFORE there was any occupation.
