50 years or more, This does not mean Jesus failed to come back..
The bible says that nobody knows the date Jesus will come back Only God knows.
Look at 2 Peter 3: 8-10
.... The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise,as some understand slowness, He is patient with You, not wanting ANYONE to Perish, But Everyone to come to repentance...
Read the verses and maybe u'll understand.
God want the maximum people to be in Heaven but many are still refusing his appeal.
If He comes today many won't be in heaven, so he's waiting until some repents and gain Eternal Life.
Another Question are We ready to go in Heaven? Are We Pleasing God??

You can't swing a dead cat without hitting another book with somebody claiming that they know approximately when Christ will return. And, when the time they state comes and goes, sure I quess they have to come up with another story.
But -
That has nothing to do with Jesus failing at anything. Why blame Him? He is very clear that only the Father knows it; Now, there are "seasons" explained in Scripture, and prophecies that have to come to pass - ways that we can tell through prophecy where we may or may not stand in relation to how late in the day it is.
But to know the exact day - nobody does. Since God has nothing to do with yet more nonsense from man, why do you insist on saying that if mans goofy ideas don't materialize, that it means Jesus Christ somehow fails at something. If you want to call someone a failure, why don't you call the idiot who wrote the book a failure.

the reality by no ability dies out, and the promise of Jesus isn't a project in any respect. God's reality would not go away the earth. The lack of life of Jesus by no ability stopped the message, and the darkish a lengthy time period wasn't adequate to drown out sound doctrine interior the top... what makes you imagine yet another 2,000 will matter? imagine about it: Judaism has been round for over 4,000 years. Their calender is someplace interior the three hundred and sixty 5 days 5,000 something. they are nonetheless solid. They survived over a million,000 years and not using a rustic and without possession of any of their holy information superhighway sites. they have survived genocide on many activities. they are diverse because God made this promise to Abraham. God retains His supplies you, and that is all there is to it.

Jesus warned everyone not to try and make up dates for his return. The fact that some still try to do so just shows their utter stupidity and their lack of knowledge about the one they serve.
Yes, Jesus will definitely return to this earth some day. It might be tomorrow... or it might be another 50 years from now. If you're living in right fellowship with him though, does it really matter when he comes back? I don't think so.

the story has always been the same--He is coming back!!! Jesus said that only His Father (God) knew the hour and the day. Anyone that tries to be specific about that is a false prophet. The Bible is filled with prophesies that have already been fulfilled concerning the end times and with all that is going on around us in the world it seems to be getting closer all the time. He will return in the clouds for all to see Him and we need to have our hearts ready to meet Him in heaven.

No one knows the time or the hour, not the Angels, not Jesus but the Father only.I expect Jesus soon , however it will make no difference if it is more than 50 years.

No, because the Bible says that no one knows the day or the hour except the Father. He will come as a thief in the night, according to Scripture, and thieves do not alert their victims ahead of time. So we are to remain watchful and ever ready.

Jesus is over 2000 years late with his rapture.
In Luke 21:25-32 Christ tells his followers about the end of the world and his pending return from heaven and then tells them that their generation would not pass away before these things happened. That was over 2000 years ago.

When all you have to do stand, believing
(1Thessalonians 5:2) For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
(1Thessalonians 5:3) For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
(1Thessalonians 5:4) But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

Nobody knows the date and time. It may not happen for a million years. It's only natural for everyone to think that it will happen during their own times.
The truth is, historically speaking, we live in a relatively peaceful, calm world right now. Not exactly calamity, you know?
As for me, I'm just going to continue to listen and be thankful for all He continues to do for me.
