Inserts? Are you talking about seat covers, or reupholstering the seats? Are you talking about the fabric between the seats? How much fabric will depend on the length and width of the fabric. Your best bet is to make a pattern of the piece out of paper, Go to the store and make sure you place it on the fabric with all pieces facing the same direction (the grain of the fabric).
