I've heard that women in the Caribbean and Pacific Islanders are desperate for good men, especially American men. It’s known that American men are generally feminized and subservient, mostly due in part to the controlling American women and their dominance in western culture and society. I’ve also been told that Caribbean and Pacific men, like those in other more primitive cultures, both in south and central America as well as Europe and Asia, are domineering, controlling and undeniably aggressive in their relationships with their women. The women in the islands say that American men are more passive, kinder, yet more refined regarding their passion and outward roles as a marriage partner. They’re reportedly in demand for good husbands. Some even say that American men are deprived of their deserved traditional subservient partner’s behavior, most common and traditional within their cultures, and apparently something that used to exist here. Even more, the exhausting dating “mind games”, which exist here, are not obstructed issues which get in the way of love, people say. In addition, women out number men, sometimes 5 to 1, in ratio. Seems that would help. Any one know if it would be a good move to seek an island girl?

@Bezimenk There are a few things you or in fact any white person can do when talking to a black or Asian person about racism 1. ADMIT IT : Know that racism goes on and you benefit. Know that your opinions are shaped by the white experience. 2. LISTEN : When she tells you about an experience with racism - just listen - DON'T try to explain it away. 3. EDUCATE YOURSELF : Read up on racism. They are part of your country, you should know this stuff. But do not ask people of colour all kinds of strange questions. 4. BROADEN YOUR EXPERIENCE : But only after the first three steps. Go alone to events and places where most people ARE NOT white – Also have good friends from all sorts of backgrounds. 5. TAKE ACTION : When someone says something racist - POINT IT OUT - Be gentle but firm. Coming from you as a white person it will have a much bigger effect. Listen - If you are white and are working against racism, then the FIRST thing you NEED to do is admit that you most likely ARE RACIST YOURSELF. You have to look inside yourself and face the truth, and admit that IT IS THE TRUTH. You have to STRUGGLE which means you have to face UGLY TRUTHS about the society you live in, the people who benefit from that society which will include family, friends and your own mindset that was taught to you since birth. That is not easy because it will not make you feel good. IT'S NOT ABOUT FEELING GOOD, it’s about doing what is RIGHT. If you aren’t prepared to struggle, you are setting yourself up for disappointments and emotional pain. Period.
