Hell is just an absence of God. If you really believe that there is no God, than you will just end up in a place where God is absent. Christian's view this as a place of eternal torture because we can not imagine what life would be like without our Lord. Also, God doesn't want anyone to go to Hell. All people have the option to go to heaven, some people choose to, and some people choose not to. It is based on free will.

Yes certainly hell is a place of eternal torture for all unblievers and satans, because they are blind, dumb and deaf. They had been given brain and heart ,eyes, ears and mouth by Allah the only one God but they did not use it for a fruitful effort in their lives in this world.God has given a complete and ever lasting life guidance that is holy qur'an,but you do not want to read it and implement it in your every day life. You do not hear and do not see it that God has given it for life guide or you do not want it because you have no faith ?God has given you a chance and a freewill to choose it or take it aside..There is not God's mistake.God is always love you all although you select the wrong one.Allah gives you oxigen and livelihood freely every day .Allah gives a chance for forgiveness and select the right one during your life. But if you are still in the wrong path and do not ask forgiveness to Allah it is not meant that Allah has not love you but you disobeyed Allah. So you will receive the bad consequencies that you will be punished eternally in hell.It is fair for a stubborn human punishment..

When the serial killer dies in prison his real punishment is just beginning unless he has asked Jesus to forgive him and accepted Jesus as his Savior. Your attempt to compare human judicial systems to God's justice shows that you fail to understand the nature of God and His powers.
Punishment in hell is the only fair thing for Gd to do to evil souls because the souls who choose to accept God deserve better than to be eternally subjected to evil, and those who choose evil in this world. will also be evil in the next.

First of all, we're only "good" when we compare ourselves to others. Even the best of us fall far short of the goodness of God. One of the basic principles is that "the wages of sin is death" and "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." But our loving heavenly Father has provided a remedy for our shortcoming...the sacrifice of someone without sin, His Son, Jesus. If we accept his sacrifice in our place, then we can experience our sins forgiven and be reunited with God and receive all the good things He has planned for us, both now and in eternity. He leaves us to make the choice. Choose eternal life with Him or eternal life without Him. Hell is basically the absence of anything that is good...the absence of God.

we are provided eternal existence, if we persist with Jesus and all that. it truly is a loose present from God. Our sins are paid for (the blood value) by Jesus' sacrifice. In historic cases, hearth became considered as a purifier and destroyer - garbage became burned as an celebration. Hell is for death - the ending of existence, no longer the continuation of existence, yet in torture. hearth is used because the photo, yet Hell is very the position existence ends. So, a soul will both bypass on to eternal existence in Heaven, or it truly is going to quit to be.

The idea of eternal hell is not Biblical but an abstraction based on the Greek concept of Hades. The Christadelphian denomination preaches to correct this common myth about the Bible:
http://www.christadelphian-advocate.org/books/WR/wr17.html
If you read any statement by Bishop Carlton Pierson on the "Gospel of Inclusion" and "God is not a Christian" he strongly preaches against the misguided notion of condemnation to hell and argues that salvation in Jesus is for all souls. I recommend his teachings, intended for all audiences, and welcomed by many people excluded by misguided Christians who previously judged them as going to hell based on past interpretations.

That's why us Yeshiva (Jewish) do not believe in Hell. Personally my thought is that you are punished what you deserve. If you stabbed someone to death, you get stabbed to an equal amount of pain perhaps 3 to 5 fold. If you don't believe in God you have done nothing wrong, unless you share a word against believing in him. Then you may be temporarily punished to a small amount. I have a personal problems with Catholic ideals.

Bc sin has eternal consequences. Sin doesn't go away, someone has to pay for it. If it's not Jesus, it's you. If you sin, you have to die, and that means being separated from God forever. Jesus died without sin, so now He can take our sin on Himself so we become sinless and get into heaven. He already died, so He doesn't have to do it again.
A good person by whose standard? Man's or God's? No one is good by God's standard, and that's the one we're measured by.
How can we be allowed to be punished eternally? As I said, sin is eternal, unless you get rid of it somehow and have someone else pay for it (i.e. Jesus), then you have to be eternally separated from God, which is death. God does love us, which is why He sent Jesus to die for us, so that we don't have to go to hell. If you believe Him and follow Him, then you'll be forgiven and you'll get into heaven. Yay for you! Seriously, you should be excited about that. Someone else took care of your tab, one that you could never pay on your own.

basically , you will die. until the Judgement Day. you will be called forward to review your whole life. everything , everythought ,every whatever will be looked at. But, we cannot see inside of the human heart with human eyes. for example, there may be someone who did something wrong. true sorrow, and being of contrite heart, shows sympathy and compassion. even as we all sin (and sinned) daily, we have an opportunity to change the way we think and act......................
