I am Christian and very much a free thinker, God, education and life experience has allowed me to do so and God created us all as individual with the freedom of free thought and choice. God Bles!

I believe everyone gets biased in certain methodology of thinking. Usually because we accumulate knowledge and make accessible judgments upon the attainment. Some use selfish attitudes, some use religious foundations. Christians believe the Bible as Truth. Everything needs to be based on absolute truth, not what we believe AS truth.

yes because religion can not evolve. It is forever stuck in the past. So people who believe in what's in a book, see the world thru the eyes of people who live 2,000 years ago. When their knowledge of the world was very limited.

When I came back to Christ I don’t recall one of the requirements being that I had to stop using my brain.
