Do you like sports? Try out for the football team if you do, they will teach you how to exercise properly to gain muscle and lose the fat.

Also, drink a lot of water. Water is something your body uses to flush out the system and help you lose weight. Water also has a filling effect that will keep you from eating so much.

Also, try and get together with some friends who like to exercise, try and hang out with people who aren't sitting around all day playing video games.

Every little bit helps man, have your parents park a little farther from the entrance at the store, take the stairs not the elevator, ride your bike to school if that's possible. Just do anything you can to exercise, you don't have to go to the gym every day - just keep your body moving.

Don't try to jump into a hardcore exercise program. You wil wear yourself out and not stick with it. Instead start out with something you know you can follow. Walking is a good way to burn fat and some studies show that walking is better at burning fat than running (it relates your body to a car, and when you run your body needs the high grade fuel (carbohydrates, etc) and when you walk your body summons the lower grade fuel (fat). So just walk 30 min or so a few times a week to start and gradually build from there by adding in some resistance weight training (smaller weights , more reps)and sports or activities you enjoy. Also, drink a ton of water, it is your best friend during weight loss. Finally, after taking your initial measurements, hide the scale for about a month, your body can fluctuate up to 3 lbs during a day, and micromanaging it will only discourage you. A good tip is to stick with a diet and exercise routine and if you fall of one day, just get back on the next day dont get down. Instead desginate a day that you allow yourself a day to eat the things that you like that may bot be so healthy. It gives you something short term to look forward too.

Start with something small and stick to the schedule. Lets say you choose going for a fifteen minute walk, some crunches, or eating a well-proportioned, healthy lunch (include vegetables, they can fill you up and are good at helping you lose weight). Do this one thing every day. Of course, when you're motivated you can do more (just don't overdo it). But always stay committed, even if you don't want to. It shouldn't take too long. If you always do this one thing, you can prove to yourself that you can stick to a schedule and get closer and closer to your goal.

reward system bud.
okay so lets say your just sittin around on the computer or watching tv and you think ooooh i should really do some situps but u just keep saying..after the simpsons until its 2 in the morning and u just go to bed.
what you have to do is break out the reward system.
its a commercial, slide off the couch and on to the floor and see how many situps you can do in one commercial break. lets say you get 30. next commercial break if you can beat 40 then your done for the day no more working out...Next day you have to beat 40 and keep moving up by 10. works like a charm.

it takes 21 days of consistency to build a habit. Right now i am on day 17. just try your best to eat more fruit and veggies and have balanced meals. Also don't overexert yourself in exercising. Try doing 30 mins of weights and 30 mins of cardio three times a week and i promise you will lose pounds. I know i am a woman and it worked for me, but my bf is doing the same thing and he already dropped 5 lbs in 2 weeks. Good luck!

No offense, but 3 instruments is nothing. You could be dedicated to all of them. However, hypothetically speaking: -Guitar requires you to have nimble, fast fingers and long nails on the right hand for plucking, maybe not for thrash though. -Bass needs long, strong fingers to have a good range and so you can move around faster. -Drumming means strong fingers, surprisingly. Once you get higher in level your gonna rely a lot on your finger strength to play fast.

Sweetie, it takes diet and exercising to lose weight. This helped my brother, he had some pictures taken of himself
(they weren't very flattering) and would keep 1 on the fridge ,in the car on his control panel in his room to remind himself of his weight and control the urge to splurge on junk food.Take long walks every day ,you can start with a few blocks then work up to more and drink, drink, drink, plenty of water.Good luck and keep in mind the end results to keep you motivated.

It was hard for me to stick with it at first as well. What did it for me though is when I started lifting hard enough to actually feel it. That made me feel like I was actually accomplishing something.

Once you have stuck with it for a few weeks it will get much easier. When you first start since your body isnt used to it you will make progress pretty fast. It wont take you long to start seeing results. Once you are at that stage it becomes much easier.

Just remember that youre human. You'll slip up sometimes. But dont let one second of weakness stop your diet for days. Pretend it never happened, and remember your goal. Youre doing this for yourself, and if that isnt motivation enough, nothing else will help.
