Humans created computers and cars, do we really want them to worship us? It would seem that if god needed our worship, then his self-esteem is low. Is he not god? Why would he need to feel anything, let alone, loved and worshiped by one tiny and insignificant species in this vast universe.

Let's be clear here... God does NOT need our worship. In fact God wants us to worship him for our own benefit. Ever notice what happens to a person when they worship all the wrong things in life? It can bring much bad into a person's life. On the other hand, when we worship God and put him first in our life, it does something positive for us.

God does not need man's worship. It is in man's best interest to worship God and strive to be as God-like as we can . By doing so we will have better lives.

Its infact the other way around. People need a god to worship to to have a sense security and sense of a higher power protecting and guiding them.

A resurrected question again? God doesn't need us as much as we need Him. God doesn't desire praise and worship from humans - rather He dwells in His children (those who trust and believe in Him) praise and worship, because we need to do it more than you will ever dream or imagine.

Better yet, The people who pray to their Father in Heaven are the ones who say they worship him; their Father.
Jesus specifically did not say to worship God, Jesus said specifically to Love God, and to Love your Neighbor.
Only a sick parent would want his children to worship him.
Love, yes. But Worship? ---- God says, "Yuck".

God doesn't choose us. If we boycott God, no longer some thing might want to ensue. God might want to be disheartened, because he loves us. it truly is why he created us. God doesn't torture us for amusement. people torture people for amusement. God loves us and in reality needs the perfect for us.
