idle air controller, throttle position sensor or both. do you have a check engine lite on?
Have it diagnosed and you will save a bunch of money replacing the right part.

That sounds as if that isn't any longer respiratory properly, you may want to get the more cost-effective stuff first like the air clear out for blockage, and the gas clear out for the same. I have a stinkin ford too. I might want to've listened to my acquaintances even as they stated FORD = restoration Or fix on a daily basis and FORD= found On highway lifeless. in the present day I have spent over $6,000 in upkeep it truly is far more effective than the vehicle is rather well worth. I even are turning out to be so stuck up that it in common words is smart to carry on to the vehicle till i'm getting a robust era the position each thing is operating completely so i'll promote it.

Your engine will idle faster when its cold. Once the engine temp is warmed up it'll slow down. Driving is the fastest way to warm up your engine so it sounds pretty normal. To be safe, I'd take it to your local Ford dealer, have them run a quick diagnostic.
