Oh man, what an analogy "I look after my dog but I do not want him to worship me".
Have you ever plotted your position with respects to the vastness of God's created universe and everything in it and everything that has been in ever since the creation by the creator? See how big you may look there! And remember God created all that.
Did you create your dog? Do you really look after the dog in absolute way or God helps you take care of it by giving you the faculties that you need to take care of it. How can you expect the dog to worship you then.
What is worship?
God created us, cherishes us, protects us and guides us. Should He not expect us to be thankful for all this. Worship is to show your thankfulness to God, the one and only One Almighty God, the creator of everything. Whether we pray 5 times a day bowing and prostrating on ground or in any other way, we are bowing in thankfulness for his countless blessings that includes having your good dog that you can take care of.

Low self esteem is why god was created in the first place. People had to believe in someone.

i suppose God could put together a human warship. and that it probably could inspire his low esteem. He could probably put together a fleet of human warships. I bet you too, could build a human warship with your pet. One thing I know for sure, He doesn't 'need' our warship. He is probably chuckling over this unique question. Hey! have a nice day....................

We're sending God the USS Intrepid?

Is your dog considering taking up arms against you?

Is low self-esteem contributing to the global arms race?

I'm so confused!!!!

The concept is rather very simple: We were >>M A D E<< to worship GOD. Worship, you can say, is a way of giving our thanks to GOD for providing us with everything that is good in our lives and a way of asking GOD for providing with the needs in life, but in religious term worshiping is a different matter, which I'm not going to specify because you're too narrow-minded to accept the religious concepts.

God doesn't need worship, He deserves it. God is so loving, compassionate, merciful, and great that He deserves it. Especially when you consider than we sinned and then He died for us, so we don't have to suffer in hell. That's amazing, so He deserves our worship for that as well.

No you need it He needs nothing. That is a rude comment by the way, especially to the one who is supplying all of your needs. So rude.

God does NOT need our worship.

It is on us... for us.
