Guys what are some reasons as to why you stay friends or "hang-out" with an ex? My ex-boyfriend dumped me a year ago, yet last week he called me and asked me to go see a movie with him. Then he took me home, and when I asked him why he wanted to see me, he said that he wants to see me "every once in awhile". It's strange that he said he wants to see me sometimes cuz we only dated for one month & even after it was over he would still say hi to me on msn, although he never asked me to see him until now.By the way, we never had sex cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. So what does he REALLY want? He's 26 and I'm 21.
Is it true that guys try to stay friends with ALL or most of their ex-girlfriends and if so WHY???

Maybe there wasn't enough to maintain a relationship, but enough to remain friends. If, like in your case, that no nookie was involved, maybe he did value your friendship. It is possible to remain guy-girl friends and have no tension there. Go past that barrier, though, and kiss the friendship and potential relationship goodbye.

Many men will make the attempt, many couples for that matter. Usually from my past experiences it works fine until one or the other just stops talking to the other. It also depends on the case, with you why wouldn't you be able to just be friends. Its harder to maintain a true friendship when love is involved. I think that's why it never works out in those situations. One person is still feeling more than friendly while the other is not. So I will say most try to but fail, usually because they are having a hard time letting go.

see its very puzzling for men to decline... they wouldnt even say no to their male frens coming over and staying the nite.... they experience being a factor of the male species he has some responsiblity for the girls human beings he's conscious... have confidence me he in all probability has not something in the direction of his EX.... he's having a toddler with you.... He for sure loves you sufficient... after he needs you out of all to be the mother of his toddler.... And darling there's a clarification why she is the EX and you are the present and the destiny :)

I am divorced and I hate my ex. The only reason I have to talk to her is because of my daughter otherwise I wouldn't want to see her. I think this guy wants to stay on your good side in hopes that he'll be able to sleep with you

So if something does not work out in the next relationship then they have someone to fall back on or to talk to when they need someone to talk to.

Are you dumb, or what?

He wants to get laid and you're lucky that he still finds you attractive.
