If you have an establishment in mind that you'd like to apply for work from, first, why not show up on a Friday or Saturday night and while having a drink, observe everything, paying particular attention to how the employees interact with eachother. After all, you just might get to work with them.

Also, check the stress-o-meter while there.

Happy Job Hunting.

Look at it like this....$$$$$$$$$$!!!!! Who cares about all that. Hello, you work at a bar. Look at it like this. If you waited tables at the Waffle House® you would make some moolah. If you was a SERVER at the Ritz Carlton® you would walk with some serious CAKE. Your tips are based on the check, so the higher the check the better the tips and the people you work with.

Well, your question is not very clear. I am going to answer it to the best of my ability. If you want to make money then work at the bar where the restaurant kidz go, if you want to make no money then work at the bar where the rookies go.

if you don't know where to work as a bartender (one word), then you aren't one. if you were, you'd know what kind of place you're looking for. every bar, owner and personnel are different.
