I think this world is amazing, and it has wonders and horrors in it. I really wonder, though, about the apocalyptic belief systems, where people claim to love God but think that it would be a good thing for God to destroy the world and make something better. I mean, how can a person love God and not love the world?

I believe life is what you make it, and the world you live in is all about perspective. For example, if I believe that I'm fortunate to be alive, have a roof over my head, and a wonderful family, then the problems of society will not destroy my happiness. However, if I look at everything going on around me and think "Wow! Everybody is scum!" Then I will be miserable. So, my rating is a 5. The world is not important, only the individual's perception of the world matters.

I'm a Christian and I think the world is great. I thank god ever day for letting me live in this world He made for us.
I don't understand why a Christian would think the world sucks, but there are things here that do suck, like terrorist muslims and other such evil people.

I would give it a 2. I see many good things in the world, don't get me wrong.....but evil is a much bigger part of the whole picture. This world is meant to be a test for us anyway. I believe God meant for us to experience the trials and tribulations of negativity while being here. Now....where we go next......your scale of 10 probably isn't big enough. almost forgot, roman catholic.

I think the world itself doesn't really fall on that scale anywhere. I think "suckiness" has to do with something that has personality or at least it has to do with something more than a big clump of rock and H2O. The world isn't sentient and doesn't have a personality and it IS a big clump of rock and H2O.
But... I guess with everyone ON earth (like people and weapons and icecream and hate and love, etc) I'd give it... a....

Well since we will not likely get to see any other planets with life in our lifetime, unless technology increases very rapidly, or we are contacted, we really don't have much to compare it to. I'm going to go out on a limb and say we got lucky with a pretty good planet, won't be that way for long with humans destroying it though.
Final Score = 8

I am Roman Catholic but hold Christian principles and Budhist Principles of reincarnation. I think God's gift of life was the best gift he ever gave us. So I rate Our Earth that God presented to us an 11 and about what is happening with our situation on Earth, God also gave us the gift of free choice so we can make a difference.

i've got self belief the entire difficulty is a slap interior the face to all Black human beings in u.s. to have self belief that we've self belief and or accept as true with each thing somebody says because of the fact they're a pastor or reverend. Very insulted is how i've got self belief and that's humorous how freedom of speech could be purely utilized in specific circumstances. many human beings do not submit to in ideas a time the place the church exchange into the only place the Black community ought to particular their thoughts without being persecuted. besides the undeniable fact that, we must be careful, because of the fact sooner or later my pastor day after today your place. u.s. is approximately freedom of speech, in spite of if it fairly is for or against u.s..

I'm an atheist.
I'd give my personal life a 9. I'm happy, deeply in love, no financial or personal problems.
The world as a total I can't bring myself to get any higher than a 3. If I look at how humanity treats itself, it saddens me to be part of that same humanity. Today, and only today, again we, as humanity allowed 30,000 young kids to die from starvation and aids. We allow that, because we have the opportunity to prevent it. The selfishness in humanity is an utter shame. If we get rid of our selfishness, I'd give this planet a 10.
