It really depends on what you choose as a theme. I happen to be at the "wedding age" and have been to or been in 5 weddings since June 2005.
My friend who was married in June gave flower bulbs that she packaged in pretty tule and tied with ribbon.
Another friend was married in July and she gave chocolates that came from a candy shop that bore her name.
My friend who was married in August gave everyone their placecard holder (silver frame) and a pack of Virginia peanuts that were specially printed with her name and her fiance's name and their wedding date.
My friend who married in September gave Hershey's Hugs and Kisses packed in white boxes and tied with ribbons in her wedding colors. We made sure to refrigerate them until right before people began to leave so we didn't have a melted mess.

It was a small intimate wedding about (50 people) they had different sunglasses placed on each seat with tags that had a toast (something to do with their bright future) and a thank you.

we are having a destination wedding so I am going to do luggage tags. Originally I was going to get a bunch of little empty bottles and fill it with bubble bath. The goom and I love bubble baths!

You should do a candy buffet where you put different candies on a table and little chinese takeout boxes and the people take their own favor....please please please don't give anything with your names on it like keychains because most people will throw them out, and don't give candles wrapped in tulle, because most people don't do anything with those either
