Ewwww.... Cat vomit can bleach carpet and it stinks. So, it's really not good to just leave it around. Plus, the cat might be sick and you don't want those germs laying around.

Clean it up, and then be really nice to your roomate when you say "Oh, I think your cat is sick, because it vomited earlier. If you can't get it to the vets right now, you can keep it in a cage till you can get it to the vets."

There are cheap hairball remedies that can prevent chucking on the carpet, and if it isn't hairballs, it could be worms or any other gross and contractable thing that the cat dragged in.

Why not I don't think cleaning up a little cat vomit will cause you any ill effect and if your room mates not home why the hell would you want to leave it there if your in the same room with it don't be so bone lazy.

Yes you should!

Why would you want to use up 5 points for a question like that?

Be a good roommate and clean up the vomit!

You don't really have to touch it. You can use paper towels etc. and clean it up for the most part. That would be the sensible thing to do.Put everything in a plastic grocery bag and you will be doing yourself and your roommate a favor.

What's a hairball between friends?...Of course you should clean it up for pitys sake! If it were you vomiting, I would hope your "room mate" would tend to you!Isn't that part of the term "mate"? To assist each other?. Be a sport, you'll be repayed when you need a "not so pleasant" favor i'm sure.

Yes, you should clean it up. You don't have to touch it to clean it up. If it is on carpet or fabric furniture, I would suggest spraying carpet cleaner on it and then use rubber or latex gloves and a paper towel to clean the mess up. I would hope that you would do this for your roomie....I am sure he/she would do it for you. But yes, be sure tell your roomie about this so he/she can keep an eye on the kitty. Kitty may need to go to the vet.

Put cat food on the vomit so the cat eats it up himself, he made it he should clean it up!

Seriously, get a trash bag or zip-lock bag and put it over your hand. Then clean it up like that. When you are done then you can just throw everything away. Unless you want it to smell like cat vomit in your room for a week...

Thats fukcing feral tell your roomate to clean it and be more hygenic with his pet. If he refuses or is difficult place the puke in his bed and blame the kitty for it.

Throw flour over it so it doesn't smell. Then when your room mate returns ask him to clean it up. Send the cat for a walk on the highway.
