Anti-La is an autoantibody - an antibody against a part of the cell nucleus called Extractable Nuclear Antigen.

Its presence is the hallmark of autoimmune diseases such as Sjogren's syndrome.

elevated anti-SS-B is often seen in lupus (autoimmune disease). SS-A is elevated in Sjogren.
