why dont you suggest a trial period---present a few good reasons why you feel you should be allowed to stay up later--anf then give it a week or two----tell them you will get up for school etc----if you fail to uphold your end of the bargain then get ur butt to bed!

Generally you must earn privileges and show your parents that you understand this. Ask them if they will let you do a trial period like the first poster suggests if you accomplish something they want (a good grade, a clean room for a certain amount of time, doing your chores without having to be reminded for a specific amount of time, etc). Be creative and show you are responsible enough to handle this extra privilege. That also means not getting an attitude if they still say no - taking it with good grace may result in you getting what you want a couple months later when your parents realize you are indeed growing up.

Your parents need to be shown that you are growing up. Do more things around the house - prove to them that you are responsible. Tell them you think that you should be allowed to stay up a little later. You should be old enough to choose your own bed time. They will see this, sooner or later.

Make better grades in school, help around the house, show them that you are responsible and capable of more responsibility including staying up later and getting yourself up in the morning without any hassles. Actions speak louder than words.

12 is an truly sensible bedtime. If that is a twelve hour enormous difference, why can't you communicate over jointly with her starting up at 10 interior the morning her time, or 9, or 8? that is two, 3, and four hours of communicate time.

Ask them if you get up in the morning without any hassle if you can extend your time to 9:30.
But then you have to keep your end of the bargain.

Show you're an adult!
Start smoking and knock a chick up - that'll illustrate your maturity.
