What good would life be without it's challenges? I don't think we would be able to feel any value or interest in life if it was easy and just happened without any effort. I'm not saying we should delight in the difficulties we go through or the crap people put us through, but I think making it through hard times can show you a lot about your character and your ability to succeed, even though it often feels like you've been defeated. It sucks that some people seem to have it easier but at least you can say you've experienced life's many varieties and (yes, you've probably heard this far too often) maybe you could help someone out who's going through something you have. I hope this helps some and that things are looking better for you.

I am not sure what you are going through. But I believe that there are several levels of hardship. AND there is a different beginning point for each individual person. As life travels up and down and around and back, I have learned that it's going to get better. But that doesn't mean it will stay that way. Within the last 12 months, I have had two cars totaled because of two drivers pulling out in front of me. I am still in a fight over both of them. The second was at 9:30 AM 1-1-07. What a way to start the new year. I was bit on the back of the neck by what all signs pointed to as a brown recluse. Dec. 28 I was bit by a brown (not black) widow. The widow gave me excruciating pain that seems as if it actually hurt before it actually bit me. It was THAT quick. My hand swelled up like a mellon. But I am a nature freak, so I don't blame the spiders. I hope they get eaten by bigger spiders though...lol. I had a good friend die. I can't find another who had breast cancer, and I am not sure if she is okay or not. That is just the small stuff. I have another friend. Probably my best friend, who has always been a little well to do. She is going through a rough time right now. She cannot afford to buy only "name brand" products. I get very angry with her over that selfish behaviour sometimes, but as she explained, she has always had it good. She was never in want of anything. I personnally have NOTHING. but for her, who owns prime property, and has a lot of nice things, it's harder on her to just see her bank account not overflowing. So try to imagine what it is like for others. Everbody has thier own delima's, but that certainly does not undermine yours. It's just life. I personally have began to understand the homeless and friendless. I think that having nothing, and being able to live that way, would be easier on a million levels....... And remember, You only have to live in this life once. Unless you believe in reincarnation, then you're in trouble....hahaha just kidding.

Life isn't hard, its a wonderful adventure. But, with any adventure, there are days when the wolf gets to bite you and days when you get to bite the wolf.
Personally, after 50 years of living, I'm still having fun. You should try it.

Because it's what makes your life worth living. It's like playing a video game, what's the fun if you always win. It always feels better when you've worked your way to the last level
