Jesus knocks at my door every day, asking me to open up my heart to him, to love others, to fight for justice, to do the will of our Father.

Let us not forget, when hoping for the second coming, that there is much work to do here and now. I believe Jesus demands action from us, to serve the poor, to stand up for the weak, to be a light in a world often filled with despair.

Are you "ready" to do these things also?

Peace be with you.

Wow, what great timing!

He was just here. I invited him in and we talked for almost 3 hours. Turns out he was telling people he was the son of Rod. His biological father was apparently someone named Rodney "Rod" Christ. But he did say he was in favor of love, peace and forgiveness and was opposed to war.

Only if He wants me to come home. There's still a lot of work to be done here, and I'll stay here as long as He'll allow.

I would be so excited, I am very ready for him. I just pray that more people are as ready to go home with him.

When Jesus is ready to welcome me home I will greet him with open arms. But until then I'll enjoy the Gift of Life to my fullest.

In this hypothetical, do I have the option of pretending I'm not home?
