I like this girl and she knows I like her (almost everybody in my class does; I'm in high school). I had a friend of mine (who's a girl) ask her if she liked me, and she said she only liked me as a friend. Why then does she still talk to me? Whenever we get a test back or something, she asks what I got. It would seem as if sometimes she tries to avoid eye contact and pretend she doesn't know I'm there, when in reality, she knows exactly where I am. Does she like me, or does she just want the attention? Even after I try to ignore her and keep conversations short, she still comes back next time and talks to me. Does this mean anything?

Watch the movie, "When Harry Met Sally." Girls have an easier time being friends with a guy than vice versa. She only wants to be friends. If that is not a comfortable position for you, you'll have to break off the friendship and tell her, or deal with her being friendly and accept it.

Could mean something...could not. Your best bet is to just wait her out and see if she makes a move on you. Or you can stop all the nonsense and try to talk to her about how you feel yourself. High school love...how I don't miss all that drama.

of course she is going to talk to you, if you have a friend you are not going to leave them hanging, if she wants to be more then a friend then you would be able to feel that tickelly chemistry she is not giving you mixed signs either cause if she did like you she would ask for help alot , drop her paper,and last thing you both would be getting in trouble for talking to much,so I hope this will help you get your answer.

Obviouslyt his is about your second crush lol. Girls can just be outgoing, i know about at least 8 of them at my school that always want me to talk to them or give them highfives and stuff like that. (Its the quit ones you gotta worry about, once a goth liked me and ewwwwwww. P.S. No offence to anyone if they r goth, i personaly just think it is weird.)

its obvious you both like each other. but she still wants to talk to you so i would just let her talk to you. and see where it leads you. Be her friend and if things get good it might go further.

no, she is trying to be friendly, no matter if she loves/likes you or not.
She can continue being your friend/classmate no matter if you love/like her or not.
