Dont take the micky but .....Argh i,m just gona say it.
I havent kissed another man or seen another mans willy since 1987!!!
I separated from my ex pig ages ago. I got asked out the other day by a gorgous mmmm of a man (i,v known him years). After getting over the "going all stupid and red" moment, then having a skip in the garden.
I realised just how long its been. I dont know what to do now. Should i go or not? I really want to but i dont want to make myself look stupid.

Someone on here a few weeks ago recommended taking off your clothes and walking around the house naked on the day of the date in order to become comfortable with your own body. I think that's a good idea. I think it is also important to give yourself confidence by spending some time choosing an outfit, getting your hair styled (though not too dramatic or you will feel self-conscious!) and having your nails done. Don't think too much about what you will talk about - if you know him well, it will just happen anyway. Don't expect too much to happen on the first date as your friend may also be a bit nervous about the whole thing - just keep it friendly and don't be tempted to drink more than you know you can handle! And that's it, really! I think it must feel like a first date for you all over again - rather exciting. Let us know how you get on, please!

Just go for it, you dig him and he digs you so i'm sure he won't find you silly or anything. Beside if you don't go he might think that you're not into him and ask someone else and you end up losing him. You don't want to spend the rest of your life wondering what could have been you know, so go and if it doesn't work at least you know you gave it a try and he simply wasn't the right one.

No problem. I feel the same way about women since a really bad marriage to a total psycho. I've been single for over 3 years and don't even want to be around another blood sucking b!tch. I'm so happy being on my own.

well what can you say too that...

It doesnt matter how long its been or how embrassed you feel it is natural.after beening on your own for so long but its like rideing a bike you never forget...

dont worry about makeing a fool of yourself or looking stupid because if this guy likes you then he will understand thats its been awhile since youve been in a relationship....

Talk too the guy tell him your abit nevous and want too take things slow for ahwile if thats what you want.but what is most important is just be yourself thats what counts..

good luck and have fun...

you need to take one step forward before you run to his willy. if you keep worrying about how you'll look or feel then you will never have the urge to take the next step, just go for it and accept his offer, if he asked you out then you have done something that interest him (without even knowing it), just be yourself and don't try so hard or put pressure on yourself. If at the end of the date you guys don't hit it off then say thanks and enjoy and learn from the experience, if it worked well then take the next step

Awww. Go on....it'll be fine. Think of it like finding an old, favorite jumper that's remained hidden at the back of your wardrobe for years! You seem like a fun person, so just go and enjoy yourself. Don't be too conscious about how you may come across. Good luck...

I guess your assuming you're going to get both a kiss and a private (or public) viewing of his genitalia. Maybe you will just have a casual date. Dicks haven't progressed much over the last 19 years.

Time is irrelevant, its just impressive that you havent given in and done something (or someone) you regretted in all those years, go out and have some fun and dont overthink things.
