How can I tell my boyfriend that he's being WAY too clingy, and it's driving me insane? I really love him, I just wish there was some way to make this work. Have any suggestions?

Just tell him.
Good Luck

Tell him that you love him, but he needs to respect your personal space. You love and want the attention he gives you, just not all the time 24/7. Maybe he is insecure about losing you to someone else. If you are straightforward with him about how you feel and don't beat around the bush, he will understand. This could be kinda a test to see how much he really cares.

If he's too clingy then he may not be the one for you. He sounds insecure and thats a turn off.

Yeah, be honest with him. Like start by telling him what you've just told the entire world instead of him.

Yep the best way to let him know what you like and dont like is by hearing you say it....
