Call her pediatrician, keep giving the medicine like you are supposed to, and get her an appointment for tomorrow morning.

There's no need to worry or panic or OMGRUSHHERBACKTOER like some of the people here are saying.

She'll be okay. Watch her, and if she becomes lethargic or any other serious turn for the worse, then take her back to the hospital.

There are tons of bugs and viruses going around, just follow the instructions they gave you, if she doen't stop throwing up in the next 12 hours take her back to the ER and make an appointment with you pediatriction in the morning to make sure there is nothing else underlying, the ER will only treat symptoms not the actual problem.

My daughter experienced a similar problem last year when she was about 21 months. I was told it was a rhinovirus that she got hand to mouth. I deducted it ws from a trip to the petstore -she picked up one of those tennisballs that they sell not to mention touching shelves and possibly floor. It finally got out of her system after about 4 days. There is nothing they can do until she stops peeing. Lack of urine says shes dehydrated and she'll need IV fluids. Until then all you can do is pedialyte or whatever fluids she is willing to take. I found that out after taking her to the afterhours Dr and her pediatrician for followup.

Keep an eye on her temp and get to the Dr fast if it reaches 104F.

Hope you have laundrey detergent because you'll be going through some towel if that's what it is.

i would find out what med they gave her at the hospital.
i suspect it was gravol in a very small dosage but i cant say for sure.
consider too how much lack of fluids she is getting. sips of flat ginger ale may be one way of getting some fluids in her
but phone er ask what med that was and if you can buy it or could they phone it in to some pharmacy.

OK you need to take her to another ER and take the med with you and tell them what is going on. The child can die on you if it is not taken care of right. Please rush your child back to the ER you need help. Good Luck

I'd take her back to the ER... Or call her doctor. They should have a doctor on call that you can reach. I hope your little one feels better soon!

Don't wait.
Take her back to the ER. It doesn't take long for a baby to dehydrate. Better to be safe than sorry where this is concerned.

I hope she gets better soon!

I don't want to scare you but, I have a friend who's child did that. She did the same. They sent her home too. They mis-diagnosed! Her little boy died within hours. He had menengitis. So go back now to the ER please! It's not worth taking a chance. Have them check for that!

NO MATTER ,WHAT KEEP LIQUIDS GOING INTO HER , CAUSE SHE COULD DEHYDRATE , IF SHE IS TOO BAD WITH THE THROWING , SHE MAY NEED SUPPOSITORIES TO STOP THE THROWING UP
