No, she's not too old, though it might take a little longer than with a puppy.

Try www.doglitter.com. This is the site for Purina SecondNature dog litter. It's full of helpful information on litter training, coupons, and success stories for when you need an emotional boost. I'm sure she can be trained, especially if she doesn't like going outside in bad weather.

We use SecondNature for our Chihuahua. He doesn't like the snow, either. He doesn't like the rain, he'll walk around a puddle the size of a silver dollar to keep his feet from getting wet. He won't even walk on the grass until the dew has dried.

A dog is never too late to train... although it is better the younger... Use a simple product... like newspaper. Whenever she poos or pees on the newspaper, praise her. But remember, if you praise or punish your dog after 20 seconds after whatever she has done... she will not know why she is being punished or praised for. So when you see her doing her business on the newspaper, praise her and give her a treat. If she does it else where, dont yell or punish her. She is not trained and does not know what she has done wrong. Hope I was a help!

i think of which you may desire to not be finding at something over a small spaniel - a cocker spaniel may be the astounding shrink imo. I actual have a sixteen week previous border collie domestic dog and he's great around infants, if certainty be told i think of they're his prevalent element interior the finished international - even extra suitable than his ball! he's purely the dimensions of a small spaniel on the 2d, yet via rolling over onto his abdomen against the legs of youngsters an analogous age as yours he has pushed their ft from under them and brought about them to stumble. that's real that a important breeder won't sell to those with infants under 5, even 8 from time to time, so as that's something that's recommended to think of roughly too. in case you particularly need to confirm, purely elect a small/medium breed - toy canine, gun canine, pastoral canine. ignore each and all of the pay attention say, circulate and meet the two the mothers and dads of the domestic canine of breed you think of is okay. Spend time with the mothers and dads on a number of different activities and that's a thank you to learn an perception into how your domestic dog will behave. Be careful of over-knowledgeable canine as much as naughty canine, because of the fact you in all probability is purely not waiting to replica it except you have journey. you could desire to continuously circulate and get an older canine from a rescue. If it does not paintings out, you could return it. If it does paintings out, that's going to not be too long earlier it dies and you would be extra reassured approximately paying for yet another canine.

They do have some kind of paper sheets with padding on them just for pups to do their business on.. Check you local pet store, or ask your vet. I saw Byant Gumble on TV and they have a little dog, and live in a high rise in the city, and he talked about using those sheets rather than walking it!

Try Nature's Miracle scented pads. Took our dog 2 hours to be trained to go on them :)

um, no..dogs aren't meant for that...get some booties for her and see how she does with those going outside...if she has to go she'll go..just be consistent...if she only goes pee and you think she might have to go poop, let her back in and about 30 min later take her back out to see if she'll go poop..but don't litter train her..she won't do it..not at 3
