I know that when i really sat down a thought about it, that there really had to be a creator and that there had to be consequences for the evil in this world. I had to admit that burning or suffering was not a path i wanted to take. So i just said No...and still say No. I choose God, Heaven and Life

Many non-Christians also believe in hell and heaven. The problem is, are the Christians right or the Muslims or the Jews or the Buddhists or.......
Surely what you do in life is more important than which particular belief or sect you follow to help you decide on what is right or wrong. Is hell reserved for all non-Christians or are only Baptists or Catholics allowed in.
If there is a hell it is probably reserved for evil, bad and immoral people of any religious persuasion and not for those who see God in a different way from each other.

Honestly, don't you think that people who have strayed away from the Christian faith have already thought of this?

Whenever I hear this kind of question, I wonder if its an attempt to convert, or just an opportunity to look down on others and practice a little Schadenfreude.

And everyone is taking a risk that there beliefs are right.

To be honest, I really do not care if there is a hell or not. Any god that would send people to a fiery pit of torture for all eternity is not worthy of my worship in the first place. I don't believe your god is powerful enough to send me to hell because he isn't even powerful enough to show himself or to reply to prayers. He is weak and negligent if he exists.

So am I willing to risk it. Of course. Are you willing to have wasted your life praying and worshiping an malevolent god out of fear of going to hell?

are you so sure that reincarnation isn't real that you're willing to risk being reincarnated as a maggot?

if the Hindus are right that's the risk you take by not adhering to their dogma and not worshiping their deities.

Just another product of the mind virus. Read this quote.

"A man's ethical behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties and needs; no religious basis is necessary. Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death."

I'm a non-Christian and I look forward to it. Hell is a place of eternal dynamism. There are always things to improve. To change. To encounter. To grow.

If you want to go to Heaven, fine. But it sounds awfully boring to me.

Absolutely! Sorry, but I don't want to be involved with a faith that worships a jealous God that uses threats if he doesn't get his way. So much for an all-loving God. A true all-loving God wouldn't have created a hell for his children to be tourtured.
