Your parents will most likely let you date when they know you are mature enough. So, make sure you show that. If you are thinking about going out with a guy, first go out in a group date, that should be fine with your parents. Tell them you are going to the movies or wherever with (a mystery #) guys and girls. If they say no, then don't have a fit and be all "Pleeease??? Why Not????", because that is not very mature of you. If they let you go on a group date like that, then next try with just you are that *Guy*. Tell them that you and this nice boy from school (or wherever) wanted to hang out and that you wanted to go. Ask them if you can. If they say no, they say no, and don't have a fit. Normally, when you do this, they will let you if you ask them about a week later, or even right after that, because they see you are mature. Parents are scared to let go of there kids and you have to understand that. If you are in your early teens, dating shouldn't be that big of a deal anyways, even if your friends have "boyfriends". Concentrate on your school and friends and family, then boys. Stick with group outings and dates. Have fun and good luck.
