Jesus was quite hummorus. He quoted Diogenese the Dog when he said; "foxes have holes, birds nests, but the son of man no place to lay his head." Also played on words when he reffered to Herod as a fox, in the original lanquage the name was similar like when Sr Pres Bush mispronounced Saddam in a way that says dog in arabic.

My Irish Grandfather, God rest his soul, was worried all his life; because when his dad died, he didn't have enouph money to buy a full shroud- he only found out later that the half burial shroud left the backside uncovered since only the front is visible in the casket. So he was conserned that at the Resserrection of the Dead that his dad will think he had played a practical joke on him as he would be walking around with his back side showing.

He was bothered about this till the day he too died.

Actually I think that the real practical joke is that there isn't a heaven.

Yes, but you will be found out before you can play any of them and have to go to another lower level of Heaven.

Jesus played a practical joke soon after his resurrection. He appeared to Thomas and said, "I'll PROVE to you that I'm really Jesus Christ--here, pull my finger!" That didn't make it into later translations.

I'd like to think so, but then again....maybe God sent all of the jokes to earth. I've met lots of men who think they are gods gift to women, I just think God loves Gag Gifts?

what a beautiful sense of humor. God made humor. God made bliss. His presence -- heaven-- is unity and completeness.
Everything we do "down here" is a crude imitation of a facet of heaven.

I bet Jesus was a prankster, too.

I think we will have a lot of fun in heaven. God must have a sense of humor . . . . just look at feet!
