im not saying i want that to happen, i'm just saying it seems as though the media keeps making us out as the evil ones in this war, and they say its all bush's fault, and so i was thinking if the media is telling the truth, then if we're evil for being over there then it seems as though all the countries would rise up and run us out.

and probably because, in a conventional war out on the open battlefield... any country that fights america wouldn't stand a chance.

Most of the countries in the world together couldn't beat us, much less just the middle east. Our technology is so far beyond any country in the middle east, its scary. They may have more men but thats about it. Wars ain't fought like that anymore.Our airpower is second to none. We have these little things called sattelites. They don't. We see evrything they do, they are blind. Plus, we could ruin them financially. Its a heck of a lot deeper than " combining together"
Plus there is the whole gigantic nuclear arsenal we have. Yes they may or may not have a few, but certainly not ICBM's.
Plus, not every country in the middle east hates us. Most don't. Most want the BS to stop so they can live there lives and make money.

why would they want to start war if we didnt do any thing to t hem DO u know what war is. Its not just a little thing that people you don't know fight in. Its thousands of people dying for absolutely no good reason. And im pretty sure we have allies. They wouldnt' s tand a chance against us. Also America helps and pays many countries in the middle east like egypt so why would they go to war with them wh en we help them out?

I don't think the entire middle east would win because they have bad tactics. Face it, these arabs just aren't good at wars. They got their butts kicked back in the days of the crusades and it hasn't gotten any better since. Despite US support, they should've been able to stomp little Israel 50 years ago. Plus there are so many backstabbers and ali babas I don't think they could every form a synergistic force.
Don't get me wrong, I have sympathy for the arabs who keep losing like this but I'm also a realist.

They couldn't win. Even if they all joined together. The world as a whole wouldn't allow it. All the allied nations would join up and there would probably be a couple of nukes dropped before the allied forces lost. Islamic Extremists would never be allowed That much power.

Because they like selling us their oil. We are the numner one nation is the consumption of oil. Why go after your best customer.
Plus if they did, it would give us enough reason to basically level the place, take over, and run it from here on out. Want world support, start selling oil at $15 a barrel again. Want America support, get the price of gas back down to about $1 a gallon.

What a great idea then when we lose the war because of the questionable data in the leadup for the invasion, mistakes and mismanagement, sparse troop levels, failed foriegn policy, and the newly elected Democratic congress we could just say that we were beaten by a worthy opponent. GOSH I JUST LOVE LOSING WARS BECAUSE PEOPLE JUST GOTTA QUESTION EVERYTHING.

because contrary to what some people think all muslims and arabs are not crazed terrorists .. the US is only interested in the countries that are refusing to cooperate with our foreign policy ... i would say the common people for the most part are just like the ones here in the US .. misinformed and lied to about whats actually going on ...

they can stop america without using military if they stop theyre oil supply to western nations USA will move out of iraq it happened in 1971 when all arab ststes stopped supply to NATO countries for their support for israel in the 6 day war and america backed of israel was left on its own for that moment

Because they hate each other almost as much as they hate us.
Besides, it is to the Saudi's benefit if we keep the bad guys busy in Iraq, they are not bothering the Saudis.
Most of the rich ones don't want anything to spoil their playhouse.

because they are not stupid. the war in Iraq is a brushfire compared to the entire might on the combined forces that would face them.
