iYes you can but make sure you use the correct clipper for a dog and be very careful you don't clip below the Quick which is the pink part on their nails as they will bleed and you could also get bitten as it is very tender and will hurt them so make sure you clip above that pink if you have ever had a nail injury where your quick has been exposed you will know just how painful that can be so take care if your not sure get the vet to do it.

Yes you can clip Dogs nails like you can cats. They make clippers similar to the ones you would use for cays but they are bigger. I have a 2 cats and 1 dog. We clip our cats nails but have not been brave enough to clip our dogs. When clipping a dogs nails if you can't see the quick(vein) then take little snips at a time. Petco's website: www.petco.com has information on how to do it. It is under Animal care sheets, Grooming your dog. I hope this helps.

I have two dogs and on occasion we clip their nails with a dog nail clipper. (dogs don't like being clipped. Trust me on this one)

yes i take my shitzu to the groomers and she dose it. ive done it my self in the past with doggie nail clippers make sure you pick up some of that powder they sell that stops the bleeding. just in case. i cant think of the name of it but you shold find it right by the clipper in the store. when you do clipp then go at least 3/4 an inch from the pink.

Yes. If you have a Big dog though, you'll need to get the bigger clippers. You can find them at any feed store and sometimes Walmart even carries them.
