Islam gives equality to all people of all colors and racists. They are all equal in the eyes of God.

I can't think why black Christians don't see this...

Having said that, I don't know much aboutt the Nation of Islam (if that's who you are refering to when you say black Muslims) to freely talk about it. It seems to me that it does not really follow mainstream Islamic teachings in certain areas...

I do not know exactly what is the real cause of tension between black muslims and black christians. In islamic teaching we do not make a difference between the skin color of human whether he/
she is white, black or light brown or brown.Everyone is the same in front of Allah the only one God.The difference lies on its faith whether it is strong or weak and whether his doings more good than bad or in the opposite.A true muslim will love and help other muslim and also non muslim who treat him/her well.Muslim will treat christian as his/her brother/sister except if the christian treats him/her as his/her enemy and gives unpleasant feeling to muslim.

Interesting. What kind of black Muslims are you referring to? Followers of Elijah Mohamed or the Islam of the Middle East?

No.

Black Christians understand the black Muslim and the black American Muslim is far different than the Arab Muslim.
Plus, black Americans are very seldom religious fanatics, we got other issues to worry about...
