I am tired of staying home and am waiting for him to take me somewhere to do something. What do I do to get him off his wallet and out on the town?

make the arrangement's 4 a whole day plan 4 both of u common grounds.things of interest go "dutch"or easy way do thing's that don't cost alot.like a lunch in the park. ice skating,local art gallery's u get the point look 4 a local entertainment guide that has different things 2 do.look it over with him u'll find alot cool stuff 2 do 4 almost no money's.that should make him smile & u'll get out as well so u can get 2 know each other better.don't let him make all the decisions it's ur life 2. we only a short time her live it 2 the fullest.

Maybe YOU should take HIM out. Don't wait for him to do something that you want to do, tell him and do it. And if he won't, leave him so you don't make his life miserable. You chose this guy to date knowing full well that he likes to stay at home, but you want him to change who he is to make you happy. Ever thought about giving first to recieve? i guess not...either accept that you might have to make the first move or move on..simple as that.....

I have to ask this!! Does he have the money to take you out ?? if he does, maybe he is just NOT an out going person or has done it all and is ready to stay at home and do nothing.. some ppl just do NOT get into the scene of going out ... maybe you can talk to him about all this ? If there is money available to go out, maybe suggest a movie, something HE likes ?? and then ease him into it all..... one thing at a time... if the money is a problem, maybe suggest you split the cost ? or you need to make up your mind if he is worth sitting at home with ?? Boo...him. He's never going to take you out. This selfish jerk isn't going to give up this good deal he has. He doesn't have to spend money or treat you like the lady you are. There's already a pattern established and I'm willing to bet that it won't change.
Get out of this one and find someone who respects you and wants to make you happy.

He sounds like an alcoholic, and nothing can change an alcoholic. I would bail now and tell him to go to AA, then concider dating him again
