One dollar. When you figure all of those precious baby teeth will be coming out soon, then you don't want to break the bank giving her too much. But even at the age of 6 they know that less then a dollar is not all that much. I would get her a piggy bank or a special place to put her tooth fairy money and let her eventually buy something special.

When I was a child my mother gave me a quarter. Apparently the price of a tooth has gone up because when my oldest lost her first tooth she said how she couldn't wait to get a whole dollar for her tooth. That's what her friends all got. So I give $1 when any of my girls loose a tooth.

when my kids lost their 1st tooth the each got 5 dollars because it was their first tooth with a small note from the tooth fairy congratulating them on this achievement. After that the got 2 dollars for each tooth.

I gave each of my 2 daughters $1.00 for each tooth that they pulled or whatever. Of course they are also 18 & 20 now but I still think a dollar is plenty to give! I got a quarter when I was growing up but things were a lot different then!!

Funny that you should ask. My little boy (7) just had a tooth pulled from the dentist. He asked to stay with his grandparents b/c the toothfairy comes to their house AND our house. The dentist gave him a chest for his tooth. Chests are worth $5 and each tooth is worth $5. When they are at their grandparents, the toothfairy brings them $5 there too.

THis will be a GOOD tooth:) They normally get about $5 per tooth.

I give my son the amount of money that matches his age, example my son is 6 and has lost 2 teeth and each time I gave him $6.00/tooth. (I grew up getting up to $50.00 for a tooth occasionally, so I may be way out there). I think $1.00 is sufficient. Good luck.

That would depend on the level of understandig your child has of money. Does she understand the value of a dollar? Does she know that if you give me a quarter, and she gets a two dimes and a nickle... does she just know she's got 3 and I've got 1? If she has no idea, then whatever you think she can manage would be fine. But if she knows.... then probably a dollar would be ok.

A dollar or two. Depending on how well the tooth was cared for.
By the way for future reference tell her that the better she takes care of her teeth, the more money she might get.
