When a man in a car slows down next to a woman walking along a sidewalk and asks for directions, is it a pickup line? And whenever this happens to me it's always a really dumb question...like they ask me, "Where is ____ street" when it's obviously the major street the next one over. So I'm starting to think it's a pickup line. Can you confirm this or do men actually ask for directions?

How ironic the first answerer's reply is when he once bothered to ask:

Yeah "carebear," asking for directions is a really thoughtful thing to do. Those guys were really "just trying to be nice" by asking for directions all right. You make no sense. Stop spazzing, little girl.

No sunflare I didn't think of that. You're the only person who is intelligent enough to think up of that.
They ask me for directions to 2345432 different streets and then ask me if I want to go to a club or stupid crap like that. So now I'm left wondering if they ever sincerely ask for directions at all. If they don't then I'm not gonna bother to try to help any guy who stops me for "directions" anymore. Waste of my time and annoying if they're mostly pickup attempts.
