Think about it, if he's dating you then more likely then not, he sees you as a potential life partner already anyway. Or he wouldn't be waisting his time with you, He may not want to marry right now, but he probley wants to know what your plans are for your future. So he can figure out where you stand in his.

Maybe (and this is a REAL maybe) he is just trying to be honest about what his long term objectives are.

And maybe you two can talk about them... do you agree that you would like to get married and have kids some day? If so, are you thinking two years or 20?

You two could have a real chance to talk about your future plans and see if they line up... honest conversation keeps relationships healthy.

Or he could be a total screwball and doesn't see that the two of you are in VERY different places in the relationship. That would be good to find out in an honest conversation as well!

Good luck!

maybe or he's probably just talking out his dreams. getting married is the ultimate goal in dating. Lots of couples talk about the future. If he wants kids and you can't stand kids than its a sign that you and him might not have a future. in the end, if its meant to be, it will be.

He does see you as a potential partner and is bringing it up to judge your reaction. Be open and honest with him about your feelings on marriage, children, etc.

I would run a mile. These things should take time to evolve and two months is way too soon. He may be more interested in setting up home etec with someone - anyone - than taking time to get to know you.

He want you to be his WIFE. That about it, don't bring kids to this life, if you and him not ready, let him talk all he want, does he have money to raise a kid? or do does he have a house where you and kids and him can live in, with out worries about bills? make sure all of those are checked before you agree with him, thanks.

If i were you i'd ask him outright. After all,if his intentions are of marriage and becoming a father of your child who would you be wanting to ask to help you with the night feeds, nappy changing and vomit cleaning. If you feel uncomfortable asking about his intentions with you in his future plans i'm sure you'd find it virtualy impossible to wake him at 3.30am to ask him to take the 4th feed that night.Deep breath and get asking girlie....Good luck :O)

Be careful. One sign of an abusive man is to rush the women to the altar before she sees his true self.
