The illegals who leech off of our system hurt the tax paying citizens, which include the Mexican-Americans. It also creates a backlash against legal immigration in society, which hurts legal immigrants who actually want to come over here and contribute to society.

oh really? was the million man march also funded by behind the scenes rich non-black individuals? please!! give me proof then i might believe but until then I have got proof that immigrants (illegal or not) Blaming immigrants for the nation's woes has long been an American pastime, especially in hard economic times like today. http://www.aclu.org/immigrants/gen/11665res20020312.html
I think someone has been told.
i agree with what edgar said about proving that you have been an upstanding citizen but then that will just send the criminals back to their country or to fill up the prisons. and if they go back to their country they have a chance to get other criminals to come back with them and....tunnels can be dug, immigration officers can be paid off...theres really no way around this immigration problem.

Because illegal immigration is a problem. the reason i hate anti immigrant groups is not because of the idea its there tone of voice and action. they are saying throw any family whos here illegaly out no matter that they been here 15 years and have familys here, and they say those "Mexicans" are ruining our society and so on. I think the problem is that they drive down the wages, a couple of years ago construction jobs use to be hard work but they paid good. now illegal immigrants drive the wages down.
so im for a reform allowing people who can prove that they been upstanding citizens to be allowed to become citizens but they need to enforce laws on employers and tighten the border.

I wish I knew, but I don't really know the answer to that. Usually, it's people who are from a group called "You Don't Speak for Me!", which was formed by someone who was against illegal immigration. Personally, I would have to agree with Edgar on this.

All the funds required for the marches amounted to $25 city permits.
WTF are you talking about?
Being hispanic is more about the culture than about the blood line. Being hispanic really comes from the heart and not from your genes. That being said, many people cease to be hispanic the moment they betray their culture. They speak english and strugle to communicate the basics in spanish. At that moment they are no longer hispanic; they have become white, black, mestizo or whatever their race is. So **** em.

I was living in Houston Texas at the time. Every Mexican I knew was jumping on the bandwagon, and making total fools out of themselves. With all their signs, Mexican flags, young kids skipping school just because they didn't want to go anyway. They all used it for an excuse to have fun. Well it back fired big time. They basically showed there true colors the first big day. All they accomplished was to embarrass themselves in front of the whole country they are trying to live in. Then to make it worse the next day there leaders had to tell them how to act. What a freaking joke. First they try to make a mockery of our country, only to shoot themselves in the foot. Go back to Mexico you stupidos!!!

What some everybody is refusing to understand is, no person needs human beings to return right here illegally. they might desire to alter into voters like everybody else and are available right here. the priority is that there are already thousands and thousands of unlawful immigrants so the significant question is, what do you do with unlawful immigrants already right here? we gained't discover all of them to deport, and that costs US money.

53% of Hispanics want illegal aliens deported (2006 poll).
Hispanics are not happy with the crime that illegal aliens bring and illegal aliens taking away jobs.
I have heard them say illegal aliens coming across the border have no manners and don't follow laws.
