I believe soulmates are people who are a part of you, sometimes they fill in what we lack, sometimes they're identical to who we are but it's all in one person ... it's the person who makes you feel most at "home" without ever having to hide, lie, fake or be something you're not ... its anything and everything. They give to you as much as you give back ..
and this isn't necessarily the one you'll spend your life with .. it could be your friends, your family or your love ... but finding one is rare ... and it's not really anything that you could ever judge from anywhere but inside yourself ... no one can tell you if you've really found your soulmate, and I believe you can be attracted to someone and think they are but it's time that truly brings it out ...

Ok. Listen closely. A soulmate is a literary device designed to sell romance novels and screenplays. In real life two people meet and decide to develop a relationship. If they have a meeting of the minds and treat each other with mutual respect they may grow to adore one another to the point where they call it love. The longer they are together and continue in this fashion the closer they become. That is as close to a soulmate as real life gets. That is, in a healthy relationship.
In less than healthy relationships some need is also being met so they too may stay together and call it love. They may blame their misery on being soulmates.
Soulmates is just a term. Try living the love instead. Good luck.

Soulmates are rare.
Honey, what most women call a soulmate is a male version of themselves. Sorry men aren't wired that way.

when something happens thats good, you cant wait to call them, when something happens thats bad, you cant wait for their help or to help them, when you goto sleep at night they are what you are thinking about, when you wake up they are who you are thinking about, they pop into your head all of the time, it doesnt matter what you do or where you go or what other people are thinking of you as long as you are with that person, when they are apart from you, you feel like something is missing, you want to hold this person all the time, and you wish that you didnt have to sleep, because you will miss the time that you could have spent with that person, you share your highest of highs and lowest of lows, and when there is even a little light in your darkest time, the first thing you see is this person with their hand extended to help you up, that is your soulmate

thats what i've tried to figure out
i like this guy, and he is pretty much my total opposite (he completes my person, you know?)
thing is, you dont "confirm" it. its like a fix of fate
when the time comes, it will come
yes, soulmates are real
but its not only in love
it could be in friendship too. dont take it too far a wreck a great friendship
be patient, stick with friends, and dont dive headfirst into a sticky situation
good luck

for me, theres no such thing as soulmate... how can it be if we are the one controlling our destiny... we are the one making the decisions either it was right or wrong... wut if your so called soulmate is the exactly opposite of you? would you like that? and i believe that the soulmate we were talkin about is the one who were gonna fall inlove with... no one else ^.~

Only from your heart! Nobody can tell you what it feels like, because it is all based on each individual. You will know without a doubt, no questions asked from within.
