As if they were ABSOLUTE?
I was told Christians try to convert because even though I don't believe in hell, it is a fact and they are trying to save me.
Why can't you just admit it's a faith? It is not the same as a car about to run over a child. No person of any faith would say a car about to run over a child was not there. But only your faith sees this car. And you judge me by it? Seriously, that takes some nerve, and that is true intolerance.
I have my beliefs, but I understand they may not match the ABSOLUTE which none of us can know for sure until we die. No one on Earth has complete proof that their religion is correct above all others. I would never judge anyone else, not even my husband by my faith beliefs.
So when someone makes it clear to you that it's fine for you to believe in somethng, but they do not and will not, stop justifying it by saying you have to or they will definitly go to hell. That is the most intolerant thing I have EVER heard.

I am angry because these are responses I get from Christians themselves.

Seriously, I feel like people like me, who don't try and push their beliefs on others and try to accept people just get trampled because we're too nice, or not loud enough about our beliefs to make people back off. We're easy prey. Why can't people respect us?
Do I have to be an asshole about it to get people to back off? I'm not an asshole, so if that's so, I guess I'm screwed and destined to a life of judgement.

What are your beliefs?
Yes I agree Christianity is truely intolerant. Yes I agree that Christians believe that Jesus is the Only way which is an absoulte.
But we do have proof. Complete proof. Alas, you have been told of that and have choosen to not belive. That is your right, no one should be beating you over the head with a Bible. The people you are speeking of should be praying for you, as they should be praying for all lost people.
I am sorry that the Christians you have come in contact with have not shown you Christ like love.
Perhaps there will come a time when you encounter a Christian who will show you love as Christ loved. I will pray that happens for you. Not to change your mind, as you already have believe in something else, but simply to be loved.

"It is not the same as a car about to run over a child. No person of any faith would say a car about to run over a child was not there" - Right, we keep telling you the car is there, yet you do not see it :)
I have yet to see where anyone has told anyone else that their "religion is correct above all others". I've seen criticisms of other religions, but no one has ever said their own is above all others.
Does not your statements define intolerance as well? If our faith says we must tell of the good news of Christ, then aren't you being just a bit "intolerant" by saying we are being judgemental?

first, thats not intolerance. its actually tolerance. Those Christians are tolerating you being whatever faith you are by not forcing you to convert. Putting a gun to your head and saying, " Repent or Die." is intolerance. Don't mistake tolerance for acceptance. Ex: If i saw a gay couple walking by me on the sidewalk the tolerant thing to do is say nothing. The intolerant thing to do is to tie them up and force them to not be homosexual anymore. I would be tolerating them, but i still would not accept it. as to proving the faith, the different beliefs cannot be 100% proven, like you said, but there is a probability chance that they are the correct one. Ex: I got a 50/50 chance of scoring this basket. Well if i practice alot/read about fundamentals, i can raise that to 80/20 or whatever. What's wrong with judging, peoplpe do it all the time. It's only wrong when the judger is judging someone in a arrogant way.

No one can smell carbon monoxide either but if you tell someone you're going to go sleep in a certain house and they tell you that the carbon monoxide detector in it is reading "lot's of carbon monoxide present dude" and you go to sleep in it anyway then when you die it's because you refused to acknowledge what they told you. They're not calling you an idiot because you don't want to listen, they're just saying "hey dude, there's carbon monoxide present in that house." Course this is just an analogy. No one would let someone else go to sleep in a house filled with carbon monoxide without calling 911. I guess the analogy does carry though, because we all have a 911 built in to our systems. It's called a conscience.

That, my dear, would make an interesting essay. Turn the tables of reason on them. The problem is the consequence. They have a ready made one, because even though not all Christians believe in hell, those who do use it more often than my Aunt Fanny uses her brake pedal. And I've got the whiplash from both of them to prove it.
If you can come up with a good premise for an essay, let me know.

I think it would be important here to point out that there are many flavors of Christianty, The far left all the way to the far right and some of those are just preaching what they hear in church and from friends or family. A TRUE CHRISTIAN is one who follows Jesus and not the church.

Cool it. You are not the same as everyone who believe in your faith, and neither are we. If I meet you, rest assured I would never try to convert you to anything. Variety is the spice of life, there is no shame in that. You be you, and we will be us.
As long as you don't judge me unfairly, go ahead, judge me as you please.
Personally, I believe that the good people whomever they are will live a happily ever after, and those are not, will get what they deserve. I believe in the life after, there will not be any title, religious identification, rich, poor, free, slave, etc. we are all the same and will be judge according to our deeds, and that is all.
I believe in God, and In our Lord Jesus Christ, I believe in Heaven and Hell, and hope everyone will be in Heaven. That is my belief, it shouldn't effect yours, and I say to you Live and let Live in peace.

christians are evil hateful ignorant people, I know Buddhists and Taoist are taught to live and let live but theyre also taught to fight in self defense as well. You either stand for your rights as a human being or you get trampled on.
how convenient that christians have the disease and the cure, kinda like someone that poisons thier husband to sell him the cure for 20 $ its dispicable.
PS just ask me: christianity is a cancer, its a cancer for the mind.

Reminds me of this....
When you were in your mothers womb, did you exist? People can't see or touch you but in your mothers mind you existed. So your mother's friend and family will simply believe her and that you exist although you cannot be seen.
Similarly, for Christian, we believe Hell exists although you can't see it. And we believe that only Jesus can save people from it.
