Just because you believe something is true doesn't really mean it is? I mean some of these people literally think they are great singers and when they are rejected Their entire worlds are crushed. I mean this just proves to me that no matter what the evidence the majority of people would rather be Delusional then accept the truth. Agree or disagree. I mean to them they would rather believe that they are good because it makes them feel better, rather then pay attention to reality and get hurt. Much like religion.

Thats very true about the parents too, I mean parents will always do things to encourage you but sometimes its just wrong to lie to them.

most of those singers are also very young and impressionable and just trying to make it big. they make themselves believe that they are actual singers hence, they do not hear their terrible voices. this does not compare to Christianity or religion at all. However, i should also say that it is objectionable to say that someone sounds terrible. You may say she sounds horrible but another person may not. Religion is someone's preference. Just because you feel it is nonsense, doesn't mean it is to that person.

I know the way some of them react is exactly the reaction I get when I argue religion with them. They would rather be delusional then accept the evidence. Its just how Americans are, Thats why europe and other advancing countries are becoming predominantly atheist.
