If your thighs are big because of muscle, that's something to brag about. I know I do. =]

To loose fat around your stomach, try sit-ups, planks, leg-lifts, and/or crunches. Take a little time out of your schedule to set up a week-by-week plan of what you're going to do each day. Set high goals for yourself and reward yourself if you follow your plan. For example, write on a piece of paper what to do in Week 1: e.g.: 150 sit-ups, 100 push-ups, 10 minutes of leg lifts, 5 minutes of planks. So that you can do it whenever you have time that week. Week 2 should be harder, and keep up that pattern until your trip. It will be hard, and that's why you need a reward system for when you do it right.

Hope you get the results you want! Good luck!

I am 5'2" and used to weigh 153 pounds. I am down to 125 pounds after six months on Weight Watchers. I no longer attend meetings but I can still use the Points System to watch my diet. I have added daily walking and some light weights and abs exercises, all in the comfort of my own home. I don't belong to a gym. The fat around your stomach will be stubborn but I am living proof that with a little time and discipline you can reduce it. Walking will reduce your fat all around, and the abs exercises will help tone up your tummy. Search Google for "abs exercises" and take it from there.

The great thing about Weight Watchers is nothing is off-limits. I still enjoy pasta, pizza, burgers, etc. as well as a cool frosty beer or two in the evenings. Keeping track of everything you put in your mouth can get a little annoying after awhile, but it's really worth it. And if you add a little exercise to your daily routine, the pounds really will come off. You've got some time - use it well and good luck!
