I am busting my hump to lose 4.2% of body fat. I am doing lots of cardio combined with weight lifting. My weight is decreasing for sure but my body fat percentage seems to be staying the same even though I have been eating only salads with lemon juice as a dressing. Can anyone offer me any ideas?

My stomach still looks like a spare tire.

If you would build more muscle, your percentage of body fat would by default decrease. Start eating some low-fat protein like chicken, low-fat mozzarella cheese and yogurt, and skim milk, and lift those weights. If all you are eating is salad, your body is in starvation mode and it is STORING calories as fat.

I don't know what the number 1 fat burning food is but I do know that not eating any fat will make you store fat. Me and my wife lost 22 pounds each of mostly all fat in 8 weeks. We did this with food combinations such as broccoli, chicken, mushrooms and shrimp or Peppers, steak and Zucchini and other combinations like that. We often will take 1 slice of bacon and cook it and then put the ingredients above in the same pan(for the grease) then we crumble the bacon over the finished product.
