i will assume that you are using the blanket for something like a gift to a shamen for a naming ceramony, or as a prayer mat, or something of the sort, just so that i can reconcile this question in the R@S forum.
however the pattern is easy. fleece does not fray easily, so little to no sewing is required.
simply start with 2 pieces of fleece of a size that you wish the blanket to be. (you may have to sew a few pieces together to get it wide enough for a bed.)
make it 6 inches larger than what you actually want ti to cover.
cut 2 inch fringe on all edges. tie the corner, and every other fringe together in a knot, and you will have a double layered..."prayer blanket"

That's one of the few things I can actually make! ha ha
Get 2 pieces of fleece, and cut them to the same size. Put them back to back with the good sides facing out. The blankets that I made had 4" fringe, so in each corner cut out a 4"x4" square. Cut along each side (while the two pieces are together) every 1" or so. Then the tying begins!
They're so cute, though.
