Make a poached egg, on top of some whole grain toast, and a side of cottage cheese. Salt and pepper and some salsa goes great with it. If you want to eat it alone, add fruit cocktail to the cottage cheese and eat it as a dessert

Aside from eating it with fruit, I have it in a few other ways:
...I eat it on top of salad, especially when I go to salad-buffet places and I don't see a lower fat dressing that I like (and it takes a lot of dressing to cover that big a salad). Those places usually have cottage cheese somewhere.
...it's one layer in my lasagna, along with the noodle, meat sauce, and mozarella layers
... for lunch, I often have one of the small individual containers of Knudsen's lowfat cottage cheese (the nonfat one is not good though!) along with a small individual can of albacore tuna or chicken
...a favorite simple (and "cold") dinner for us is cottage cheese, Rye Krisp crackers ("Seasoned"), V-8 juice, and fresh strips of bell pepper. . .the flavors all go together really well
...recently I noticed that a "stuffed" fish I'd bought (in a package, to bake at home) at Safeway that was particularly good, had cottage cheese, bay shrimp, and a few other things (all ground up) as the stuffing... will definitely try that myself since it was yummy

i think a similar way about the feel ingredient yet I nonetheless like it. Cottage cheese is very sturdy with salsa or with canned peaches. My aunt also makes use of cottage cheese in her lasagne. it truly is how i began eating it.

Marachino cherries, peaches, grapes, any kind of fruit really goes pretty well with cottage cheese. I've also heard yogurt is good with cottage cheese and fruit.

This is a dish my Hungarian grandma made for me when I was a kid. I still make it today.
NOODLES AND COTTAGE CHEESE
12 ounce package broad egg noodles
8 tablespoons butter
1 large onion, chopped
24 ounce container low-fat cottage cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Cook noodles according to package directions. Meanwhile, melt butter in skillet. Add onion and saute until soft. Drain noodles and toss with butter/onion mixture and container of cottage cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

You can eat it with peaches. I add cottage cheese to my dogs food, it gives her a shiny coat. You can use it in lasagna. You can use it in the place of riccota cheese also.

Definitely try it with some (canned) sliced Peaches.
Also try it with some sliced Pineapple, either canned or sliced.
You can also add lettuce and fruit to make a tasty lunchtime salad.
