Download and install the free open-source program called "Audacity" at the below link. While there, also download and next install the "LAME MP3 encoder" file that goes along with it. On the upper menu you will see a down arrow that allows you to record "What U Hear". Click on that arrow to choose that option. Then start up the recorder function, start the sound source, and click on the Stop button to stop when the sound is completed. Then click on "File" on top, and export the sound file as an mp3 with the filename of your choice. Good luck.
