I have not been out on a date in 2 years. I go out to clubs and bars, so I have a night life, but all I find there mostly are couples and women who do not want.....to talk. I am not looking to pick up women, I am just trying to see what I can do to jumpstart my love life. My classes at uop are filled with undesirables. Any help would be appreciated.

i always go out with a group of friends, most of whom are in a relationship, so i always feel like a 6th wheel or something. their are some good answers here, and i am all for patience...but 2 years? i work at a bestbuy, and it is unprofessional to ask out a customer, or fellow co-worker (i am a superviser...so i couldn't anyways). what about a wine bar, i say bar because it is really the only social venue i can think of.

I have to say... usually you won't find anything worth holding onto at a bar or club. Not the best place if you're looking for something serious.. Not say you won't find it..but its definately not the best atmosphere to be in.
Mostly its patience that leads you to the right one. And theres nothing wrong with trying high rated sites like match.com or the other one I can't think of...starts with an E.. lol.. Anyway I actually think those are good places to meet people
and patience really does pay off when it comes to finding the right one

well mabye u r just being picky. stop looking at the faults that girls have and start looking at the positive things. u may miss out on a great girl just because she doesnt look like girl who would be right for u. dont judge from the outside

got out with friends. Bars and clubs are crappy places to meet a decent girl and just seems more awkward.

why not try online dating services?You can get to know someone online before you attempt to date them,it might work out better for you...

join a class of some sort... some sport, DANCING!!!!!!! there are always plenty single, decent women in dance classes..... like ballroom or swing or something like that
